Membership Qualifications Membership in the IDA is open to qualified businesses only. Candidates for membership must be independent companies actively engaged in the distribution of replacement parts and/or providing rebuilding services for construction machinery. It is non-transferable.
We invite you to consider membership in Independent Distributors Association. It is our belief that we can provide information, ideas, contacts and opportunities for expanding your services to customers. We provide benefits that will make a difference in your business.
Regular Membership The Regular Members shall be those independent business concerns whose principal business is the distribution of replacement parts and/or the providing of rebuilding services for construction machinery.
Associate Membership The Associate Members shall be independent manufacturers and wholesale suppliers of replacement parts for construction machinery and those business concerns who are currently providing products and/or services to Regular Members.
Honorary Membership The Honorary Members shall be retired personnel or officers of Regular or Associate Members who may be invited to become Honorary Members with limited rights and privileges. This class of membership is not eligible for voting rights.
Restrictions The Members and Applicants for membership in the Association shall comply with the above requirements and shall not be an original equipment manufacturer, or a dealer of an original equipment manufacturer or original equipment manufacturer's dealer. Such business concerns are not part of the independent construction machinery parts and rebuilding services supply channel that is represented by this Association, and their membership in this Association would tend to lessen competition in the industry.
Members and Applicants for membership shall follow ethical business procedures.
Billing Information Membership is from June 1 to May 31. Partial year membership will be pro-rated. All transactions will be in U.S. dollars. Upon receipt of your application, you will receive an invoice for appropriate membership dues and fees. The invoice will be sent directly to your address, as listed.
